That's because to turn someone into stone the reciever has to have some appeal towards the user this is the reason Boa couldn't do anything against Luffy because he had no appeal towards her

Her DF can work on any sort emotion I think, even if cuteness, so if you think someone is cute they can use Mero Mero Mellow to turn said person into a stone. Only a person who feels nothing towards the character will be immune like Luffy.

Boa is as awesome as always, I used to ship her with Luffy but not anymore lol I dunno why I just don't really ship him with anyone cause yk I might get disappointed in the end.

I am sorry bud but I can barely understand this, I agree with the struggle part but the only reason they struggle is because it is written that way to increase tension and stakes that's it, whether you agree or disagree, in any piece of fiction that is the case because what would you rather see a character stomp another character or to see a character struggle against another one but come out on top. BB didn't even try to attack him, he just defended using Haki and used black hole when he saw that he was going to get pinned by the Marines and the kid, I never said that they are weak, I mentioned at the end how even the kid didn't go "all out" against BB, like I said he is pathetic the moment he saw the kid and his features he got scared so much so that he went on the defensive.
